Who we are
XIM Audio licenses music production data for AI training: the sessions, stems, MIDI and presets that working producers make, with their written permission and a share of every deal.
Where the data comes from
XIM Audio is the sister company of WeMakeDanceMusic (WMDM), a marketplace where producers have sold DAW templates, stems, MIDI and presets since 2012. WMDM grants XIM Audio the licence to offer that catalogue as training data. The producers keep ownership of their work, have accepted terms that name machine learning, and are paid pro rata for what of theirs is in each licence.
Who runs it
Mikas (Michel Anguelov) founded WeMakeDanceMusic in 2012 and XIM Audio in 2026. He has run the marketplace and its creator community for fourteen years. You deal with him directly, from the first sample to the signed licence.
How we work
Every file is real production data, and every stem is printed from the producer's own session. No separation model made any file we license. Deliveries are anonymised: songs and creators are pseudonymous IDs, with no titles or names. Each delivery ships with a manifest and a datasheet. Our standard licence is public, so your legal team can read it before the first call.
The name
XIM is mix, backwards. The parts before the mix are what we keep.
