XIM Provenance · measured 25 Oct 2026

Human-made ground truth for AI-music detection

A detector needs human-made negatives with evidence; a song that ships with the session it came from, its lanes and a provenance record is the strongest human label there is.

Each song comes with

  • the mix and flat master
  • provenance.json: creator id, DAW and version, session hash, lane count, build time, licence id
  • the project file where the product has one
  • a stereo-only variant from the instrumentals and stock sets

Built from

  • Stems Every lane of a finished song, printed by the producer from the session it was made in.
  • Paired production sets One song, everything that made it: the producer's session, every lane printed from it, the MIDI it played, and the flat and the mastered master.
  • Instrumentals Full-length instrumental performances, produced and played by working musicians, with tempo and key.
  • Stock music Finished tracks written for licensing, full length, with tempo and key.

How it ships

Readiness: ships within 10 working days of payment. Delivery to a private S3 prefix or your bucket, with a manifest, checksums, creator-level splits and a datasheet.

Loader: one JSON record per song beside the audio.

Rights

Every creator in this set accepted terms that name AI training. Every stem is printed from the creator's own session, part by part, and the manifest says which session it came from. Read the rights page.
